Avoid this place totally out of the way even taxi's don't like going there. Our room was very basic and dirty not been cleaned. Breakfast is very basic don't expect to be filled. You can hear other rooms so clearly as well. I would say this hotel being basic should only be marked as a 2 star. Hated it our first of Italy trips birthday requested something special got nothing.

Filthy and yelled at by manager for asking for new sheets

DO NOT BOOK. We checked in after a 10 hour flight to Rome. When we arrived to our room it was filthy. The lights were not turning on and we noticed what looked like a bed bug on the bed. We opened up the covers to see and revealed the stained sheets and absolutely disgusting mattress. We returned to the front desk and politely asked for another room as our room was quite dirty. They then gave us a new room and if course we were concerned about bed bugs so we again checked under the cover to make sure, and this time we found crumbs and hair, as if the sheets were not changed. I asked a housekeeper in the hallway if we could have new sheets for our bed, but I don't think she understood, and so she called the manager, Momo. Momo arrived to the room and immediately began yelling at us. He said we were causing trouble by checking the beds before getting in my girlfriends face and yelling at her more. I told Momo we weren't causing trouble, we just wanted the bare minimum of a clean bed, but he continued to yell at us, calling us crazy and telling us to find a new hotel. Momo also told us to contact Expedia to request a refund which we did, however they have been attempting to contact the hotel and Momo for the last 2 weeks, which he hangs up on them each time they get through, so they are unable to refund despite us being in the building for less than 30 minutes (which was long enough for us anyways). It felt like a blatant scam, we were told to leave because we asked for new sheets and we did not get a single dollar back. Do not stay here, it is filthy, and the manager is incredibly rude and aggressive.

The bathroom in the reception smells like a public toilet. Our hotel room was bare minimum : the curtains are longer than the height of the wall, so they are all over the floor. The bed blankets are also not of good quality, so one may feel cold during the night. Room service does not clean rooms properly, for eg. Only does the bed but does not even go into the bathroom I think. Location wise it's very far from the main attractions , almost 40-50 minutes by public transportation.

My daughter found this hotel which is on the last stop of the metro .It says it is 3 star but I would definitely say it was more 4 stars 🌟 Beautiful restaurant and very peaceful area, absolutely perfect, not overpriced and many Italians staying (always a good sign ) After a tiring day at the collosium we decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel We were unsure what to expect, my daughter is coeliac so thought it may be difficult. She opted for the steak as had plenty of pasta and ice cream, this was the most incredible sirloin steak we have both ever tasted 😋 Mentioned this the following day and was told they are renowned for their steaks !! A good Hotel. A little way out of the centre but the standard was very good. My room in the new wing was better than most suites that I have booked. Great value for the money. Food was very good although the restaurant is a little bit 'Canteen' in it's style but don't let this put you off. The train station is a fifteen minute walk away and getting around is easy once you get use to the metro, which is a far better experience than the London underground.
